Philadelphia Art Museum Events

Think museums are only for solemn perusal of great works of art? Think again. Each Friday, the Great Stair Hall in the Philadelphia Museum of Art turns into the site of a buzzing cocktail party, with live performances accompanied by cocktails and snacks.

Listen to jazz, poetry, cabaret and other sweet sounds as you sit at a table in the impressive front room, and waiters will bring you drinks and food, provided by Stephen Starr Events. Or, stroll through the galleries and then stop by the bar to pick up your drink of choice.
Art After 5 events run 5:45–8:45 PM, and are free after the regular museum admission fee ($20 for adults; $18 for seniors 65 and over; $14 for students with ID and youth 13-18; Free for children 12 and under; good for two days access to all museum buildings).
